I picked these up. Any one have any idea how to get these apart, so I can paint/ polish. I also think they are leaking oil?
Looked for exploded diagram, couldn't find anything.
Thanks

Re: NC rear shocks rebuild?
Hello All,
I tracked down three sets of these shocks. Bought a compressor off of UK.ebay for 10$. Got them apart. Polished them, and painted them.
I was gonna get the rebuild kits from Amici dello scrambler, but they are only doing cash and carry now. I am not going to be in Rimini, Italy any time soon.
I really want to replace the seals / rubber on these. Any ideas anyone?

Oil seals the correct size 9x22x7 should be readily available from a bearing company.
I bought some off the shelf at my local supplier.
Remember to peen the seal holder over the washer that sits above the oil seal itself, or the seal could come out.
Don't overfill with oil as the hydraulic pressure can blow the new seals out.
50cc of 5w or 10w oil is enough.
