Red Cam

Not a cam devoted to international communism, but rather the grind supplied on the Diana Mark 3 bikes, 1962-64: #0602.29.010.
Recent discussion here leads me to think my engine is from one of these (it's Tipo '250 D3', Anno '1963', engine 84414), where I had thought it was from an SCR so would have the 'white' cam.
Does anyone know how the red cam compares to better-known varieties like white, white/green and gray? How will it affect power, smoothness, low-speed running etc.?
Cheers,
Dave
