Bronco 125 Swing Arm Shaft

Postby vincep » Wed Dec 07, 2011 3:33 pm

I am trying to remove the swing arm shaft from a Bronco.
I have removed the securing bolt (the one that locates the swing arm onto the shaft) and notice that the shaft is frozen in the frame and the swing arm is rotating on the shaft, rather than the swing arm being fixed to the shaft and the shaft rotating in the frame.
The previous owner has already powder coated the frame, so I am reluctant to add heat. I have hit it with penetrating oil and the next step will be to put it in the press - other suggestions?
Also, there is a small grease nipple in the frame to lubricate the shaft - is this pressed in or screwed in.
