I assume that most of those here are on Bevelheads and have already seen these, but in case not here are some pics I took a couple of weeks ago down at Gowies:

Phil,
My wife has always said that as long as I'm having fun, she's OK with my little shop and shed full of stuff, but I'll keep some of these photos in case I need to give her some perspective some day- an amazing collection of stuff, plus a vineyard- he does look like a happy man.
I tried to send you an PM with my email address for the 1957 175 closeup photo, but I couldn't get the PM to go through- I can remember something about a policy that requires a set number of posts before new members get PM privileges- it prevents people from setting up an account and sending out 'Canadian Pharmacy' messages to everyone- I'll try again later.

There is no posting limit, and as it turns out there never really was one. It was a default "recommendation" that came with the forum software. I've removed that.

As for the PM, the message stays in your outbox until the recipient opens it. I think it's so that one user can't spitefully fill another's inbox since the depth of the mailboxes are so small.

Rick - No messages in my Inbox. You can email me directly at the address on my home page. www.philaphoto.com

Joe - Yes most of it is! All you have to do is ask. The prices are even quite reasonable. iangowanloch@bigpond.com

PM-inbox Depth

____ As Jim has indicated, this w.site's PM-inbox "depth" is lacking much volume. ...
I've discovered that this possible issue can be much relaxed by having each member 'continue' past PMs sent (to other/individual members), rather than start a NEW -(thus separate) set of PM.topic-mater... That way, member-B's inbox can store more total PM-volume !
In other words, if member-A wishes to contact member-B with multiple follow-up PMs, then member-A should continue using his same/original topic-title PM-line, rather than sending new/separate PMs. _ This way, member-A will only use-up ONE of member-B's 50 available PM.slots (and then up to 49 other single-members could get all their PMs accepted into member-B's inbox), thus then member-B won't have to delete any of member-A's other PMs (or those of [up to 49] other members) in order to open his or other member's new-PMs.
OTHERWISE, member-A could possibly help fill-up & plug-up member-B's PM.inbox slot-limit with too many separate PMs, (which could otherwise be filled by separate members' PMs) !
PLEASE NOTE... If this-post is not-yet signed-off with '-Bob', then I'm still in the process of completing it,, and if not also included with 'DCT' near bottom as well, then I may edit this post's wording at a later time. - Dct.Bob
