I am happy that I can enlarge these photos for a better look. The one at the beach (la imagen playa) is beautiful in it's subject and composition. It makes me want to hop on the bike and explore the road in the background. Beautiful bikes, beautiful country. Welcome!

Hola cartagenero:
I will ask you in english then your answer will be available for every body. Do you know that in the 24h there are to points in the distribution gear of the crankshsaft? but wich one is the correct, the index point,"el de la chaveta", or the other one.The problem is that many people knows everyting about the italians Ducati but not the Mototrans Ducati.
Thanks,
JPalomo

" Do you know that in the 24h there are to points in the distribution gear of the crankshsaft? but wich one is the correct, the index point,"el de la chaveta", or the other one. "
____ I understand this to mean to say: that the bevel-gear on the crankshaft of a 24-Horas model, has not only the normal timing-dot, but also an extra mark as well.
Do I understand that correctly?
If so, please post a close-up picture of that crankshaft-bevelgear.
__ The correct timing-dot ought to be located directly aligned with that 21t bevel-gear's key-slot.
Some models have their crankshaft's bevel-gear with it's timing-dot located at 11-o'clock -(actually @ 11:26-o'clock), for use with camshafts that have their key-slot located in a position that's about -(+/- 5) 8.6-degrees advanced, (compared to other camshaft models). (I really can't explain why Ducati did not make them all the same, [perhaps the change had to do with a common production-error with the alignment of the key-slot?].)
Therefore, the timing-dot/mark that should be used (for alignment with the tower-shaft bevel-gear's timing-dot), depends on the camshaft that's installed.
__ If you are not sure which model of camshaft is installed, then I suggest that you try both settings and learn which alignment produces the most compression or best power.
DUCATIly,
-Bob

Hi kartagines
beautiful pictures of your bikes. I am very envious. I like the road bikes best but they are all very interesting. I notice that they seem to be equiped with amal carbs. I wonder if my 450 might have originally come from Spain. it has an Amal carb and came to me with a Dunstal pipe. what is the front brake on the bike overlooking the beach?
all the best
mike

Same front brake on the #89 and #45 race bikes? Looks like a single side twin leading shoe. Similar to an Oldani.
Are they available in Spain. Would make a great upgrade
