Aye Bob,

rather than cluttering up the "500 Server Error" thread, I thought I should start a separate thread in answer to your query about stainless steel swan necked handlebars. ;)

Speak to Barleycorn Engineering, here is the link: Barleycorn_Engineering

I have just looked at the site and noted that he appears not to have any swan necked bars for sale! But he used to make them for Norton Inters and would produce them for different sized stanchion diameters at the time. Mine are stainless steel, of the Norton 'standard' lift, which might be a bit short for you and I can give measured data, if you require. But speak with Simon first and hear what he has to say.

Good health, BillR

Hi Bill, dont need a lot of lift on the bars . just a bit so i can use my periphical vision and look over shoulder . also save back a bit . I have ridden Desert racers and not a fan of high bars . Next move is fit carb /inlet sleeve to encourage air flow speed thro the SSi29 . Fit my red cam and lower the gearing a bit. Preparations for continuing riding in Octagenairian years .
