350 scrambler: brake shoes

I have these brake shoes, probably 16000km and built 1973.
There are 4mm material and everything looks solid.

I am afraid of using them because of age and outdated glue.
Once, i had shoes from Yamaha XT500 standing for 30 years and the friction material could be pulled off like peeling a banana.

Please, your opinion:
- Using them as they are?
- Ever experienced problems with parts this age?
- Alternative parts?

I think i already know the answers...

Bremsen Schöbel in Nuremberg/Germany looks good to me for relining and so on and probably is the best way to go

Test them by trying to peel the linings off like a banana, maybe starting with a knife blade.
If they stay put, it will help you make your decision.

I think new brake shoes are readily available and probably cheaper than re lining?
