I think the length differs, 250/350 vs 450.

Hi Jordan,
Ok, its the length of the 350, and definitely shorter than the 450...

250 & 350 cam bearing housings are dimensionally identical.

Jordan,
I guess the 200 will be the same as 250/350,
What about 125 or 160/175?
And, so what did Ducati put this no-number housing on?

Aye Bruce,
I think that you've just come across a housing that an enthusiastic buff wheel user has ground away all the detail, just because that is what they like! BLING!!!!!!
Personally, I'd rather it was holding the cam in place and being revved to 8,000rpm+ than reflecting my ugly mug.
Good health, BillR

I had a friend with a 350 single who ground and polished off the numbers as he had L plates and could only ride a 250….. a big 250 sticker on the side and the Old Bill (police), never knew. Neither did the lads on the 250RD’s or the X7’s.
Looks like a piece of 70s memorabilia…
Best Dave

Now that i've replaced on my 350 the Desmo head with a sprung type, I use a 250 housing for the same mischievous reason.

Do you want more dimensions to compare with your 200 ?

Jordan,
What measurements do you have to offer?
I have a 350 big valve head with a 200 cam housing bolted to it, also have a 200 engine in a state of dis-repair, and a 200 ducati factory parts manual.
All this is from "Dad".
