R.I.P. Mr. Phil Aynsley

Postby joe46ho » Thu Sep 28, 2023 2:34 pm

To those who hadn’t heard already, the world lost another great man. Very selfless guy who helped me out personally with some very detailed photographs and information I needed. I though he was recovering well from his heart attack, but apparently not…

Posted by his brother Steve, for those who don’t use Facebook

All are welcome to a memorial service for Phil on Tuesday 3 October, 1.30pm upstairs at The Oatley Hotel, 8 Oatley Ave, Oatley in Sydney's south. Mindful of his many far flung friends, the service will be live streamed and available later at https://www.FuneralVideo.com.au/

The world will be a poorer place without Phil. I loved his photographs.

Thanks for posting this sad news.

Aye joe46ho,

Thank you for posting, though I had seen notification posted elsewhere.

Indeed a sad loss of a very knowledgeable man and excellent photographer, whose images will speak loud in the coming years.

Good health, Bill
