Wow, thanks.
For my 66? MKII with a SS1 29D, any tips to get a steady idle? There's some play in the slide but it doesn't see excessive.
Float level? Any other suggestions? Runs excellent from quarter throttle on up, but starts hard and idles poorly/stalls.
In fact, it acts the way a concentric behaves when the idle circuit is plugged. That is, the air screw has little to no effect.
Is there a passageway for idle fuel that tends to plug up on these carbs?

Will probably get a new Amal Concentric for it eventually, but would prefer to get the original carbie working well.

Tanks, yeah.

Nick
Put a Mikuni on it!
