I’d be grateful for some help in identifying the headlight parts needed for a 175 or 200 TS . I have the correct shell but do not have the reflector, bulb holder, bezel / ring nor lens.
My confusion is added to by the fact that sometimes the required parts are listed as 150mm and others as 160mm and I’m also not clear on what these dimensions refer to.
Does anyone know the Aprilla or CEV part numbers or any aftermarket alternatives that would fit?
Thanks for any help offered.

Re: Headlight parts ID
I’ll try to email you a pdf of a 250 parts book tonight.
It may be too large though for email size limits.

Try searching ebay.it (Italy) for "Ducati 250 Fanale".
When you find something in the parts book you need, take note of the Italian word for it and search for it on eBay Italy with the addition of the word Ducati and some other filter word so you don't get flooded with modern Ducati parts.
Searching with the engine displacement (e.g. 250, 350, 450) can help focus the search results, and sometimes the word "Ottimo" helps narrow the results, but keep in mind if the seller doesn't state Ottimo on a part you're looking for you'll miss it.
You can also search the UK eBay as well as the Australian eBay. It's a little easier to discuss shipping with the English-speaking folks selling on those sites.
But let the people on this forum know what you are looking for as there are many helpful people here.

Re: Headlight parts ID
Thank you Jim for your information and ideas. Based on the info in the parts book you sent me, I took a punt on a Aprilia bezel / ring which, luckily, fits.
I’m now looking for a lens and reflector for the same.
The part numbers on the lens seem to be IGM 0470 P or IGM 0471 P
Any help or further advice appreciated

Just to be clear ...
Those are NOT part numbers. They're homologation (type approval, if you prefer) numbers.
IGM stands for "Ispettorato Generale della Motorizzazione Civile e dei Trasporti in Concessione".
This august body operated from 5 May 1941 until 31 Oct 1967 when it was replaced by the DGM - "Direzione Generale per la Motorizzazione ".
What this means is that different models of headlamp can carry the same homologation number. So proceed with caution .

Re: Headlight parts ID
That is very interesting. I’d noticed that other manufacturers also use IGM “part numbers” but didn’t understand the meaning. Now I do, so thanks.
Does anyone know therefore what cev, or Aprilia or whatever part numbers I need to be looking for to fit a 150mm bezel with a 130mm opening?
Thanks

Question of ploughing through the parts book(s), I think, Tim.
For example:
Wide case 250 & 350 SCR (page 100)
0689.38.288 Ghiera portavetro APRILIA 035150 (see note below).
And to go with that:
0689.38.306 Gruppo ottico Aprilia 036250-35907-6V.
Note: Looks like there's one on ebay right now. BUT check the dimensions first.

Happy hunting!
