If fork stanchions are loose in Alli sliders what is the best way of restoring them.
I can get stanchion chromed but no guarantee the alli sliders are worn evenly, is it possible to have sliders cleaned up first
Any advice welcome

If they are really worn that badly George I suspect the only option would be to first ensure the stanchions are straight and true along their entire length (possibly have them re-chromed if necessary) and then have the the legs/sliders machined and fitted with bronze bushes. I don't have personal experience but I understand it can be done.
