I have a 250 widecase head that has screw adjusters for valve clearance. Does anybody know which model this might have come from? It's probably also for sale if anyone is interested.

Re: 250 head identification
I am not 100% sure but I think the very early widecase scramblers might have had screw adjuster rockers, somebody on here should be able to confirm...... of course they may just have been changed from solid ones??

Re: 250 head identification
My 1974 239cc WC has double spring valves (see picture). Production of the 239cc WC was only two hundred and fifty machines some of which were desmos. The cam cover and toolbox covers are labelled '250' despite the actual 239 cc. 250cc machines have hairspring valves. The 239cc machines were produced for the French market to take advantage of tax and insurance limits. I don't know where the 11cc were taken from. The 239cc machine has a different piston to the 250cc.

Re: 250 head identification
The parts book has the 1968 250 Monza having a screw adjuster; but I reckon Dodge is more likely to be on the money.
(Dunno about the Barcelona 250s. Jon will, tho' ... My 350 Vento has screw adjusters).
