clutch rod SCR 450

...on my daily ride to work I noticed a increasingly odd clutch behavior. So I've checked my clutch rod and I think what I've found is a little less than expected. Because nothing else was available I used a dowel pin 5 x 15 instead of the roller ΓΈ5x5. It is working, the clutch operates well. How does the complete clutch rod look like, of what parts does it consist? The parts manual is not easy to decipher, different online shops offering clutch rod consisting of five or six parts - what do I need for my SCR 450?

Kind regards

Wolf

Hi Wolf

get rid of the bearing balls and put in rollers . that works a little better .

i converted a couple off pressure plates to thrust bearing . Suzuki parts are used .

turned up a cup for the thrust bearing and had it welded to the pressure plate .

adjustment is still possible with this setup

Hi Eldert,
this looks like a real improvement! Nevertherless I think I'll stay with the original setup, there are some other thinks to be solved first.
Kind regards
