Does anybody know the centre to centre length of the gear shift control rod (including the adjusters) on a '74 450 Desmo?

The link rod on my 1974 350 mk3 which I robbed from a 250 desmo is 21cms long, but with the (non std.) included ball end fittings the length between pivot centres is 28.5cms, I have an original 250 desmo but its in storage so not easy to get at to measure for you, hope this maybe helps.
Cheers,
George

I have the original clevis joints if you need dimensions

Since parts may have been switched by this point, it may be helpful to say, absent a part you know is right, the general principle for this is, the correct length center to center for the rod and it’s fittings is the length that makes the levers on the pedal and the short gearbox piece 90 degrees to the rod, and parallel to each other. That’s sort of basic to the mechanics of pivoted levers (puts the levers in the middle of their arcs so they move the rod fire and aft equal amounts in both directions) and what I’ve always done on my road racers.
