Looks very pretty and the restorer has made considerable efforts to get the right bits. Look very closely and you may see that the bike is not complete or even roadworthy at this point . That does beg a few questions as to whether this is mostly a cosmetic job and the internals of the engine are as unroadworthy as the chassis is.

I don't think the machine has been run at all since being rebuilt from a racer . I bought a very similar finished machine many years ago that actually ran. It took a few years work to undo the mayhem in the mechanics, suspension and electrics. Hope I am wrong , but the pointers are all over if you look properly.

I don't believe the original poster of this item, Cale32 is being quite straight when he claims he is 'just sharing this'
Cale32 and the e-bay seller ,co_jack80 are one and the same.

If this is the same Caleb Frasier who posts on Facebook, then as Eldert: caveat emptor.

I would class this bike as a project and ignore much of the "restoration" that has been done , value £ 4 to 5 K .?. Probably came from a widow of a deceased enthusiast and has been loosely thrown together by someone who does not know Ducatis.

That seller showed up selling Ducati stuff on ebay a few years ago. He was listing parts for ridiculous prices, like $500 for a “super rare” normal rear wheel. I messaged him and he was a total a-hole.

No chance I would buy anything from him.

He’s sold a bunch of parts and bikes which he is probably buying up locally in his area for cheap to make a profit.

Yes, all of you are correct, this guy is a royal cheese dick! I purchased a head from him on a M3 block ,telling me it was a large valve M3 head. When i pulled it, sure enough it was a Monza head with small valves. He would not make good on the deal and disappeared until now , resurfacing with this partial M1 deal I hope buyer didnt get severly hosed The Duc single world is very small, these acts do not go un noticed.
