Instrument restoration

Hi

I would like to get the Smiths 60mm speedo and tacho from my Desmo restored - are there any recommendations?

I am a bit wary since I had the speedo/tacho from my Road 'fully restored' - both instruments failed within a year. After the first failure (sent back) I gave up and repaired them myself. What I found was not pretty.

AE Pople seems to have a good recommendation.

Hi Max, I was looking to get a speedo from a 1970's Alfa repaired, and was talking to this guy, but in the end found a NOS speedo for about the same price as a repair so went with that. He's local to you, hopefully not the person you have had a bad experience with.
