hello Everyone.
Thanks for reading. I have 2 white face veglia race tachs that I need to have freshened up and repaired. Has anyone dealt with a shop that does nice work. I live in Canada and willing to ship to the UK or USA. Love to hear of some first hand accounts of a shops or shop you have had dealings with.
Thanks again
Cheers and Bevel Gears

I think they are simple mechanisms with no damping.
They don't have crimped on bezels. The aluminium ring is threaded, so working on them should be easy.
Big warning: There is a small locking screw on the outer edge of the bezel. Trying to remove it without first taking off that screw will do much damage.

I used Joel Levine to do my Mach1's speedo.
It came back like new including having the mileage reset (which I asked for as it was second hand off another bike).
I couldnt find anyone in Europe too do it so took a risk & posted it to the USA.
The work was excellent, the turn around quick, not cheap but very good.

If you had an old wind-up clock, would you not feel confident that a local clockmaker could fix it?
Similarly, a mechanical tacho of conventional design should not be beyond the capabilities of any professional instrument repairer, I think.
The biggest hurdle - a crimped-on bezel - is not an issue with a Veglia Contagiri per Competizione.
