66 Monza handle bar switch
Wiring diagram shows a 4 wire light/horn switch, this has 7? And the colors are not correct. Is this the wrong switch, for this bike?

Re: 66 Monza handle bar switch
Wiring diagram shows the handlebar switch is for horn and high/low beam.
But the photo shows a switch with more functions so more wires.
No surprise, as these type of switch are not high durability components and often burn out in use, and replaced with whatever.
That's why it's good to add relays if you can.

Re: 66 Monza handle bar switch
This switch duplicates the function of the headlight key switch, and was confusing. I have a four wire horn dip switch I will use. Just goes to show when you buy a basket case bike, all is not what it seems. Thanks Jordan

My 67 Monza 250 has the usual Aprilia CEV switch unit with high/low beam, horn and a 6v wire. Bolts directly to the stock clutch lever housing. https://i.ebayimg.com/images/g/ywMAAOSw ... s-l300.jpg
