Dellorto UB22B2

Postby Geordie » Sun May 30, 2021 12:18 pm

This is from my Mototrans Elite of '62.

I cannot find a match online and the parts list shows a UB24BS.

It shows fair overall condition but before overhauling and mounting it, any info or thoughts on its designation or origin or suitability would be greatly appreciated.

The UB22BS2 was a standard fit on a Mototrans 175TS.

Thanks Jon, noted, but the cast-in designator has no S. I can find images online with an S but not without. Search does not return anything for UB22B2.

A Spanish contact has kindly explained the Dellorto coding. "The B2 or BS2 termination is simply a nomenclature that Dellorto used "Spain" to differentiate small details of the carburetor, such as: If you have 1 fuel tap or 2; If the intake is direct or uses an intake nozzle. The carb is the same."
I post that here for reference.
