Ducati rebuild. Here I go again

After having forks and frame damaged in road accident 50 miles of riding after finishing restoration I have acquired an Italian type B frame, forks and 200cc engine to rebuild motorcycle. Engine number indicates 1965 build.
The plan is to check that all good parts from 1st bike fit replacement frame then while waiting for painting to be completed I will start rebuild on engine and forks. I would like to share rebuild and will be sure to be asking questions along the way.
First on my shopping list will be a white crash helmet and hi-viz vest.

Image of replacement frame and engine. Hope to have it finished before winter sets in.

From here that looks like a decent frame and engine , perhaps the basis for an Elite ?,

Motoliner in Maidstone, Kent could more than likely straighten that for you http://www.motoliner.com/
They did mine last winter which had had a front end - forks like bananas, wheels badly out of line, tank would not fit, engine would not fit, but after they worked on it, everything lined up perfectly. Worth a phone call.

it's repairable, I know people here in Australia who could do it. But what a royal pain. George, I suggest you approach this situation with large amounts of Harvey's Best Bitter, and if that's not to hand, something from Nethergate, or Shepherd Neame, or the Eagle brewery (formerly Charles Wells). Look on the bright side: at least you're in the country with the best beer.

I hope you're OK.

I will drink to that with a small whisky chaser. The cost of frame repairs worked out more expensive than the one I bought.

Aye George, if you like a beer and a whisky chaser, try a bottle/case of this from St.Peter's Brewery, up the road in Bungay. You will be fortified! ;)

The-Saints-Whisky-Beer

Other beers are available elsewhere and I have no connection to the brewery apart from a parched thrapple after wrestling with recalcitrant Ducati 450's! :D
