Friction Damper

Postby frankfast » Wed Apr 21, 2021 3:32 pm

Is anyone aware of a Wide Case 350 Scrambler that comes without a friction damper? Mine has a hole in the nut that holds the front fork assembly but has what looks like a solid piece of bar stock sticking out of the bottom triple clamp with no means to adapt the friction damper as found on all Singles that I've seen. Could it be a modification?

Some of the Telesco bottom triple clamps do not have the two lugs that engage with the steering damper components.
The only widecase 350 with this feature that I know of is the Spanish 350 Vento, of which I only know of one in the US.
Yours sounds like a modification.
