So in answer to the earlier question when I purchased the bike, I only saw a picture of the bike in Madrid and agreed to the purchase as I wanted one and the bike was near original, a company imported it and paid the duty, I have to apply for registration in the UK which I still have to do

Thanks. How did you manage the paperwork? Did you have to send papers back and forth to be signed? What about the export certificate?

Hi Colin
One the bike is paid for the paper work that came with it was the Spanish registration which acts as a vehicle conformity, the most important form is the NOVA which is an inland revenue compliant form which dictates the duty to be paid.
This fee is payable by the importer and has a unique number assigned to the bike

Now the tank, the black stripe was a concern and couldn’t decide to paint or use a vinyl, decided paint as that was the original finish

Rather pleased with this, belive me this took hours and hours of fine rubbing and precise paint application, all done and finished with a petrol resistant clear lacquer
