Would a set from a 350 mk3 fit my 450 Scr ? They look the same as in they have a preload adjuster chrome looped wire handle. Like in this pic. Would they be the right length ?

Funny, but the parts book does not seem to list rear shocks for the 450, only the 250-350, so I don't know if that means that they are the same or that Ducati forgot to list them. The 250 SCR shocks come in two lengths, 310 and 315, so I'd guess that you'd want the longer ones.

FWIW:
1. I measured mine at 300 - despite what, as Colin points out, the parts book says ;). But I bought replacements at 310, largely on Nigel's advice. Honestly, tho', I can't say I notice any difference. On a track bike maybe. But on a Scrambler -?

2. The original Marzocchis are really not very good, even when re-built with care :). So if you want to use the bike, they wouldn't be my first choice ...

Just saying.

May I suggest searching through this suppliers range? I purchased Betor rear shocks from them and have found them to give a firm well dampened ride on my '74 450 MKIII, for a very reasonable price.
