this bike has been sitting in the shop for about ten years and I pull it out once every year or so to work on it. Now its time to finish it.
`first question, i started pulling out pieces for the primary and in with the clutch parts was a shim. it measures 24.95 od, 18.3 id and .5 thick. any one know where it goes?
the original coil terminals are marked "1" and "14". which would be + and which -, or does it matter?
And on the rest of the wiring, should I just run the wires I need like I would on British bike? or try to make sense out the mess that fits in the headlight?
thanks, and keep after me to finish this thing.

I don't know about the scrambler, but my 350 Vento has a shim like that on the gear change.

Does it go behind the clutch?

The shim is off the kickstarter shaft and goes on after the piece of tube immediately up against the primary cover, last part on before the cover.

thanks. and I've decided to do my own wiring harness, and eliminate the mess in the headlite.
