350 scrambler

Postby Dave L » Thu Aug 27, 2020 3:32 pm

Here are a couple of pics of my nearly complete scrambler. Incidentally, I have access to a large amount of Spanish Ducati, (and all other Spanish makes) parts, second hand and new. These include complete bikes, either ready to ride or for restoration ,engines, frames and much more.

Lovely job, and lovely weather, from a rainy chilly Northern Ireland :)
Cheers,

Hi Dave
Lovely looking bike, I must say!
You say you have access to Spanish spares - here's a long shot.
I'm looking for a 250 5 speed as fitted to the 1977 Road 12V model.
Mine has been fitted with an earlier 4 speed De Luxe engine, which runs fine by the way, but I would like the proper engine if possible.
The frame number is MD42142, so the engine number should start with MD42xxx.
Be great if you could help.
Cheers

Max

Max,

Just to help in your search for a Road 77 motor, frame numbers for this model start MD42--- but engine numbers start MD402---

Here's a pic of some of the engines!

Your bike is a beauty, and you must have a treasure trove of engines there! It's hard to tell from the photos which bits of your bike aren't finished. I'm hoping my 250 scrambler (also Spanish) restoration will come close to this standard when she's finished.
