Hello Craig,

I wasn’t aware the GTL 350 used a 19” front wheel.
Wire 18” wheels I have seen on parallel twins were 4647 same as late yellow Desmo.
That could be what it is from ? (GTL)
You may have solved the mystery.
It was with parts I bought many years ago.
Not knowing what it is from and not sure of the spoke drilling angle is why I asked.
There are parts that need to be moved on to someone who can use them, but without being sure what they are from makes me reluctant to advertise them falsely.

I did find the 4860 number advertised in Italy as a Ducati rim but no model was mentioned.
So I asked here.

Nor was I, Graeme! (Let's be honest - who would be? :). These are PTs we're talking about here ...).

And what is weird is, why did the 350 get a 19" wheel, but the 500 an 18"? Doesn't seem a great way to reduce/control your inventory ... :?

Is the oil pump outer cover from a Mototrans (Made in Spain) the same as the Italian cover?
I have a Made in Italy cover that is badly damaged and a Made in Spain cover that is in good condition.
These are the covers with the groove for the wires from the electronic ignition. (Late model)
They look the same.

The outer cover from a Mototrans machine with 'Made in Spain' cast on the outside will have come from a late Strada, Forza, or Vento and is interchangeable with the Italian timing cover.

Oil pump question please,

The spring and ball for oil pressure relief isn't in the oil pump I am cleaning up.
There is a bag with small springs and balls, not sure they are for the oil pump or God knows what ?

The parts manual online says the ball is 1/4" (6.35)
But doesn't give the spring dimension.

The spring I have is just under 12mm uncompressed x 5mm diameter

Anyone have an oil pump apart at present ?

I think the spring and ball I have may be from the kick start fold out lever.

The ball is 4.73mm . It is not 1/4 (6.35 as the manual says.

Still if someone has an oil pump apart can I please get the oil pump spring dimensions

These measurements are from two pumps from 1959 200cc Italian engines. Both giving the same dimensions, which would indicate they are the original items.
Bear in mind the springs have been compressed for sixty plus years.

BALL 1/4" Diameter, Spring free length, 22.5 mm long, 5.5mm Diameter, .5 mm Diameter Wire, 12 Turns.

Did any Ducati singles use a triple clamp for 31.45 mm forks ?
The 31.45mm does not go through the top, there is a step down to about 27mm
Can anyone identify this top clamp ?
