Strada Swinging Arm

I decided this afternoon to tackle the removal of my Strada's swinging arm, and due to the amount of rust and sand collected everywhere, expected the pin to be seized solid, but was surprised when it came out relatively easily, the reason being that it has plastic bushes!
I always drill and tap my Ducati swinging arms and fit grease nipples, but I'm not sure that this is necessary for plastic bushes. What have others in the same boat done?
