Not pretending to Italian anymore, Having tracked down the correct head-light, rear light and switch gear. Gone are the "plastic" head-light and push-button switches, the pattern stainless mudguards (not very good stainless, they were going rusty) to be replaced with the repainted originals, they, plus the tank repainted in their original colour. Involved a certain amount of rewiring and various other odd jobs but we are almost there now.
Getting out on the road next, may show up other snags of course, just because everything works on the bench doesn't always follow once it has been used for a while. Watch this space.

That's looking really good, all my previous and current Ducati singles have been/are clip ons and rearset jobs, I hate to admit or bow to the ageing process but a nice 350 Ducati street scrambler is looking more and more attractive, lovely job, health to enjoy.
Cheers,
George

First ride out, to the MOT testing station. Doesn't need one of course being 44 years old, but an extra pair of eyes after a rebuild is always useful. Did it pass? Yes. The only problem, it absolutely poured down with rain on the ride home, had to clean it then, there was a good deal of mud on the road most of which seemed to end up on the bike.
