i have a customer that has just sent ne a TS175 carb for service /rebuild.
Its a spanish Dellorto UB22BS2. I have no data for the correct set up for this carb as the Italian TS uses an MB22
Can anyone help with main/pilot. slide needle emulsion tube sizes etc for this ?
At the moment it has a 35 pilot, 100 main, 65 slide and a strange needle that has no markings i recognise...

TIA

Blimey Paddy - you take up restoring Mototrans bikes and you'll have to get yourself a whole new library ! :D :o

Anyways, back to business ;) . This from Carlos Polo's "Ducati Mototrans". Francesco Herreros says the same in his book.

For Dell'Orto UB22 BS-2
Main jet: 90
Idle jet: 40
Atomiser ('difusor'): 22

But no help with either needle or slide, I'm afraid

thanks Craig...i was tricked :) no one mentioned mototrans till i got the carb in for refurb....

I have the spec for a UB22.5 used on a 1960 175 Sport and that uses an E14 needle , nothing like the thing i have here...

if anyone else can shed some light on the correct needle that would be great...where is Jon P when you need him :D

The Spanish parts book lists an E11D needle and an 80 slide for the 175T.
The atomiser is listed as a 260B.
Otherwise, as Craig says.
