Ducati MK3 stainless steel spokes

Postby Scottish888 » Tue Dec 17, 2019 2:44 pm

Hi Folks, any recommendations for Ducati MK3 stainless steel spokes?
I would keep my original steels on but a few look a bit thin in places due to corrosion, if you magnify the pic you can see some of the spokes are quite thin near the rim.

Aye Alex, Central Wheels and if you make a Horlicks of it they will "Re-true" it for you for a reasonable price plus P&P.

Thanks Folks,

I will send them a sample spoke as they have a few options.
The spoke nipples on the Ducati look like they are brass...not sure but they don't rust.

Regards,

Alex

You have to send 2 spokes, one inner and one outer. They are slightly different in length and bending angle.

cheers Hans

Are the spokes the same lengths front and rear?
Are the hubs the same external diameter?

Alex

spokes are not the same length front and rear .

i think your rear rim is 18 inch and front 19 inch .

rear spokes are 155 mm from memory .

Thanks Eldert,

I thought I could avoid stripping both wheels at the same time but best I do that to get it right.

Alex
