Can anyone tell me the ball bearing diameter for the steering head please.

I would have thought they would be a metric size but I guess this is the best easily found equivalent.

No, imperial it is - like tyre sizes are in inches, unless you have an old Citroen. :)

Alex, this is a Ducati that you are dealing with and you will need 48 x 3/16" balls, as Eldert stated and Jordan re-iterated. You try finding 4.762mm steel ball bearings. ;)

At least Ducati used something 'off the shelf' unlike some Japanese manufacturers! ;)
