Update on my posts above.
Mototrans Elite registered Spain 1961
I have had paints mixed 'by eye' to match the copper-gold (metallic) of the frame taken from a sample from the underside of the swing arm and the red (pearl) taken from the rear mudguard area below the seat. The mixer did a good job and shows what can be done.
The copper-gold is 1K requiring a finish coat of 2K clear varnish.
The red is 1K requiring finishing with some of it added to the 2K varnish to give the pearl 'depth'.
The photo and your screen may not show true.
Also, for reference, the difference between original copper-gold (upper in pic) and BMW 388 (lower in pic).
