Hello, hoping to get some insight into building a wheelset. The last time i did this was in 1967 when i replaced the chrome rims on my Mach 1 with some
alloy ones that the nice people at Dunlop made for me.Simply took an existing spoke along to my local hardware store, and had a new set made. These were of regular plated steel at the time,no stainless in those days.Time to make another set,i have a set of 3 fin hubs same as i used previously and
some 18"36 hole WM1 alloy rims Borrani pattern,i estimate the length should be 150-155m.m. or there abouts,if anyone has more accurate information
it would be great, i intend to use stainless steel this time.
choosing spoke lengths for 3 fin hubs.

Central Wheels, Birmingham will make s/s spokes if you have a sample or drawing.

155mm is about right for the rear hub. The front spoke flange is larger diameter so 150mm is about right. I’ve used spokes from a Honda CB400F on the rear hub for an 18” rim. These are available from Sudco. A few mm long for the Ducati hub but can be trimmed to length. Haven’t identified a Sudco spoke for the front. I prefer to use zinc plated spokes rather than stainless.

did some measuring of some hubs i had laying around . the spoke holes of the rear hub are 200 mm apart . the spoke holes of the front hub are 220 mm apart . the 155 mm lenght for the rear spoke lenght is correct . my guess is that the front hub spokes are 145 mm long but you have to double check yourself . the double sided 180mm Grimeca front hub has the spoke holes 210 mm apart .
