Thanks for all the advice so far everyone, much appreciated.Next question! The speedo drive cover plate sits about 3mm inside the hub.Is there supposed to be a shim/washer sitting on the bearing inner race between these two parts? I can't find a washer with these dims(23 outer,15 inner and 3mm thick)

I think Jon has already given you a good lead .... :)

"The Strada wheel with a drum brake is the same as an Italian Ducati single, so has the same bearings and spacers etc. "

And so, following that lead, here is the parts diagram for the 250 Monza (and pretty much everything else, frankly). You'll see there are two washers, one felt (#620), one steel (#77.210). (If you've got sealed bearings, you can forget the felt one).

If you can't get one made - and I dunno where you are for postage etc - you could always try:

https://www.ebay.com/itm/DUCATI-BEVEL-V ... 0937141374

Listed with the correct part number (0170 77 210) at least ....
