Stuck choke Dellorto carb

Postby Scottish888 » Wed Aug 01, 2018 4:36 pm

Hi Folks,

Any tips for removing a seized choke plunger in a Dellorto vhb 29a?
Can it be pushed out after the "choke jet" (directly underneath) is removed?

Regards

Is the plunger cable operated or lever operated?

It is lever/cable operated.
I managed to free it last night, I had soaked in in penetrating fluid overnight, still could not pull the plunger via the cable, then just tapped the plunger lightly from the top, it pulled out easy.
