Hi,

https://www.google.de/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&source=web&cd=27&cad=rja&uact=8&ved=0ahUKEwjIgJCkkL_YAhXSDewKHaVkAqE4FBAWCEwwBg&url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.guzzi4ever.de%2Fwp-content%2Fuploads%2F2017%2F02%2FBorrani-SIZE-CHART-2-5-2016.pdf&usg=AOvVaw0w9swQA4Xj6xj69ztwCCzJ provides a cross-reference list about Borrani alloy rims, most of them for the various Ducati singles. With this list it is easy to identify a rim by it's stamped 4digit number.

cheers Hans

Thank you for posting this Hans.

i have a few unknown Borrani rims that this list might help identify.

!974 450 yellow Desmo has WM2 rims not WM3.
Front 40 hole rim isn't on the list, R/101 4647/1 . (40 hole disc brake) This is what is on a couple that I've had over the years, still have one.
Rear is, WM2-1.85-18/36 RM-01-4647

I assume that Ducati used what they had a lot of the time? so this may differ to other bikes?

RT front is 36 spoke, WM 2.21 RM01/4625 (this one has an Akront rear fitted that is not original

Regards
Graeme

Graeme is correct . not al the info is right . the 750 GT and Sport rear rim is 40 hole 4626 / 1 .
the 4626 as stated in the chart is a 36 hole WM3 rim used on the 450 RT Desmo rearwheel .
