Hey Singles Fans,

I am rebuilding a SSI 29d carb and need a 265 Needle Jet that is not worn. If anyone knows where I might be able to locate one, I am willing to pay or trade for it.

Thanks in advance,

Ken

They list it as unavailable unless it is because I am in the USA. If someone in Europe could check it it shows stock availble, that would be great. I would be happy to pay someone to purchase it and forward it on to me if it is in deed available.

Buzzing only had 270s available. Not sure how much of a difference the step up in size would be. If anyone has more expience with this I would love to hear their insight. I am assuming my 265 Needle jet is worn since the needle showed obvious signs of wear. Which I knew how to measure it to see how far out it really is.

Normal fix for a slightly worn needle jet is to lower the jet needle to compensate.

I use a 260 and find it to work well in a Tuned 250 Mark3 NC ,and I still get symptoms of richness .

I suspect going smaller would be fine as well as my bike always ran a litttle rich with the 265 also. Well if anyone has a 260 they would part with, I would be happy with one of those as well.

Got my 260 from Australia. I did notice that it has no air bleed hole, I dumped the 265 so it would be helpfull if you could look at your 265 and give measurements for it?, I could try drilling the 260, if it does not help I will just solder it back up.

Seems it would be a good opportunity for someone to have some made up. Seems like it would be pretty easy. I may look into it once I get a little more time.
