Paint code for the silver is a GM paint code# 4023 called Ultra Silver with a Good clear coat over the top. Sorry can't find the red code.

From my prior post:

These colours cross matched from an original Mach 1 which had been in covered storage for 30 years.

Silver-Mercedes- DB744.70F

Red- BS539

Yellow- One shot lettering enamel. 191L-Imitation Gold- applied using stencil tape and a fine artists brush

Finesse Striping Stencil Tape- F10

I used these on my Mach 1, just perfect in my opinion.

I placed the decals on top of the clearcoat and left them as that.

I recall being told the silver is Mercedes Astrial Silver from around 1961-4

Probably not any different from the GM

So sweet , enjoy them!
Cheers

my other bike with a DM250M3 9994X serial number has the new wide case style kick start mechanism

I don't understand what you mean by this statement. The wide case kickstart mechanism is completely different from narrow case and cannot be accommodated in the early design. Perhaps you're referring to the update that replaces the leaf springs with a coil spring to retract the sector gear?
