Which choice??
I've got the problem to decide me:
- my Diana project has a strange camshaft without a slot for a tachodrive
- the engine is ready to start and i can not change the camshaft
- thats why i can not mount my veglia tacho
- i want replace the tacho with an motogadget tacho/speedo
And now i have the problem to decide between the :
- motoscope classic with black housing and black or polished rim
this looks like (+/-) a white faced veglia
- motoscope chronoclassic black with polished rim
this looks like the smiths and Jaeger tachos from some gran sport machines
and it looks cleaner because the speedo display is black

What would you decide?

To my taste the LCD window on the 'white-face' looks too modern, and other than being white-faced with numbers it has little similarity with a Veglia. The "black-face" tach looks more vintage to me much closer to the older British instruments (Smiths) of the day.

The black face could be significantly harder to read at night though, if you've a mind to look at the tach while driving at night.

Bottom line is you can't go wrong with either. Do want makes you happy.
