Trying to find Clutch Basket nut size(Monza 250)

Postby halfpast » Wed Apr 05, 2017 12:53 am

Hi all,

As the title says, I'm looking to find the size of a few nuts, namely the one that holds the clutch basket in as well as the one holding the gear on the flywheel. Your help is greatly appreciated.

Do it yourself kit.

These two items are indispensable for a serious mechanic.

Do you mean the M16x1 that is in the parts manual? It sits in the clutch basket and is accessed after the clutch stack is removed.

Ended up buying a 'large' metric socket set. For the record, the clutch basket nut is a 25mm and the flywheel nut is 30mm.

As I said M16, but in isometric that means a 24mm spanner.
