Classic Veglia Tacho parts needed

Hello,

I had an unfortunate accident with my 450 Silver Shotgun at a recent classic race meeting here in NZ - the good part is that only the ORIGINAL Veglia tacho got damaged - and if I can get parts, it should be repairable. It's the classic 8500 rpm redline unit, typical to many singles of the era ("CONTAGIRI PER COMPETIZIONE").

Being the original unit, I'd rather at least attempt to repair it than replace it with a replica. All I need is:

1. The white screen-printed faceplate
2. The pointer with any fasteners that mount it to the spindle

I found a dead ebay link to a reproduction face-plate (but no link to original posting), so they must exist out there somewhere. Does anyone have any suggestions? Otherwise a complete original tacho could be an option..?

He fixes m'bike gauges, has done white faced Veglia tachos before, might have repro faces or needles.

Hi Jordan - brilliant thanks. Got through on that number and chatted to him for about an hour. He doesn't have the parts I need (which seem to be obsolete now) - but seems to know everything there is to know. In fact I'm going to try and help him make some faces (because I need one), which means he might even be able to start producing his own replica's again.

In the mean time, I think I'll buy one of the replica's - you can never have too many white-faced Veglia Competizione's!
