Mk3 Parts Needed

Postby desmoman900 » Thu Sep 08, 2016 1:52 pm

Hi, all

I am restoring a very neglected 1966 250 Mk3 and I am looking for a few parts.

Original rear fender. The one on the bike has been cut so I am looking for the original.

Headlight assembly. I need help here. I got a headlight bucket off eBay but it seems that is for the Monza/Mach 1 and not for the Mk3 as it has many holes and, according to the parts book, the Mk3 has none.

If you have the right bucket for the Mk3, I'd take it otherwise I'd be OK to have the parts for the one (Monza/GT/Mach1) I have now.
There are four holes in it. I believe they are for ignition switch and some pilot lights.

From the parts book:

Thanks!

Mark 3 Narrowcase imported into the uk were most likely fitted with Mach1 type electrics as they were intended to replace the Mach1, so it would depend on whether you are building a US or Uk spec bike. I would fit what comes along .

That's my plan, Bevel Bob: fit with what comes along.
