Anyone know where to get a rod kit for 250 narrowcase ? Syds ? Laceys has them but they are a little out of my budget as well as I need one in the next week or so.
Thanks

Classic Ducati has them so does road and race. You could try to find a used one and just replace the rollers/cage/pin
Getting what you need in a week might be a tall order

Syd's sells rodkits to and they had Falicon in Florida make the rods and Eurorods used to sell rodkits to .

Has anyone used the falicon rod ? I'm trying to get this bike ready for Barber in a couple weeks and the rod just has a little play. I may just try a new lower rod bearing.

Syd's Cycles had the rods made by Falicon as Eldert said. You cannot buy one from Falicon. If you call them they will refer you to Syd's. I had my crank rebuilt at Syd's with one of their rod kits. As you said it was very expensive, welcome to the world of vintage Ducatis. The only way to know the condition of your rod is to press it apart, inspect and measure it. Road and Race is about the cheapest rod kit I've seen. As for quality it would be from Lacey or Syd's

No, the crank Syd's rebuilt is in my 450 scrambler I restored. I didn't know anywhere else to send it I could trust and I just wanted it done right, so I paid up and had it done.
