watching ebay and the forums over the past few years, it seems there are not a lot 350's out there. All the interest on the forums is about the 450's, 250's and the Monza's and mk3's.
Is it that there is no interest in the 350 or are they that scarce? And in you opinion, when restoring / building a 350 scrambler, will I be crucified if I stray from stock?

Re: 350 scramblers in general
Build what you want. There are far too many pansy garage queens out there already, most of which seldom or never get ridden.
I'm about to build a narrow-case 350 Scrambler/Motard bike. To me, the best of both worlds: 350 n/c engine with 250 n/c cycle parts.
Go for it, build something interesting — and be sure to keep us updated with pics!

Put a Mikuni on it!
