Removing steering lock
Can anyone tell me hovv to remove the steering lock from a 250 Desmo? Needless to say, I don't have the key....

Pound it in and the pin will shear off pretty easily. Comes right out

Make sure the hole in the steering stem is lined up with the steering lock pin, otherwise the lock won't be able to move inwards enough to shear the pin.
A usable tool to hit with a hammer is an 8mm bolt with its head faced flat and turned down to slightly smaller diameter than the lock cylinder.
