It is my understanding that this was in fact a request from berliner, so as to fit "generic" footpegs that the dealers could buy very cheap and keep in stock.
P.S. to Ken, I like the user name you have picked, we rarely talk about anything other than Ducati singles on here, but its good to know that there is at least one other member on here that likes Ducatis AND fine rifles.... I myself will probably never be able to afford a Barrett (unless I sell some of my Ducati hoard) its a constant dilemma
