Hello everyone,
I will remove the clutch plate by this summer holidays, and I am wondering about taking the opportunity of that for lightening the clutch itself (as suggested in the Ducati "technical review"). I did that on my 250 MZ and it was very efficient(-600g) for responsiveness because, of course, the clutch rotates at the same speed as the engine. For the 350 Scrambler engine, the clutch rotation speed is myabe 3 times less than the engine. So my question is simple: had somebody experimented such modification? Is it worthwile or not? Is the result tangible during accelerations?
