Hey guys, hope that all of your ducs are doing well. Im in CA, currently in college.I recently joined to get help and input on my build. I have been gathering parts for a while. here are some pics. also looking for a flat headlight, and a tachometer bracket.

Looks like a good start. I take it you are going for a 175 F3 Replica sort of build? The flat back headlights are easy to get these days, just pricey. Ebay seller Gio655 is remaking them.

Matt ("double diamond" on this board) was remaking the center mount tach brackets found on the 250 Mark 3 Diana, looks great with a flat back headlight.

Thanks for the references guy. the headlights are fairly pricey, hopefully one pops up on the forums classifieds section. the 175 f3 is my inspiration right now. gabe, nice 125 ! Im also going to try and race this bike once I'm finished. at the moment I'm looking for the right colors.

Came home for the weekend and picked up some shocks, and mocked up the engine. still haven't got the chance to get paint. any shock rebuild threads on the forum? will mineral spirits do a good job for the gunk on the engine?

You might get lucky but I think that wasn't a bad price for that headlight. Those go on the first diana's and the 200 scrambers too. That tank is sweet! Wish I didnt sell mine. Also try and find some early aluminum rear shocks if you can. Also I have had great luck with the eagle brand mag cleaner but be careful it is strong. But mineral spirits work too.

Original pancake headlites dont come up for sale very often .

50 replica headlites where made and Gio655 is selling the last ones of this batch . i dont think another run of these will be made .

yeah, its nearly impossible to find an original pancake headlight. projects on hold at the moment. trying to sell the yamaha ds7 to fund this project. if you talk to gio, let him know that I'm interested in a repo price.
