Thanks Graeme. Useful. I had a look at what might be required yesterday, and those photos confirm it. Hmmmm...
@ Eldert : Yes, please - any measurements you've got will be useful.

Craig,
Western Australian M3D side stand. Engineered from genuine Jarrah (Swan River Mahogany), Ducati part number unknown. Make me an offer before I put it on eBay .

Re: Help with fitting a sidestand to a widecase
i measured the 3 sidestands i had laying around . the shortest one is 255 mm centre pivot to edge of stand .
the middle one is 270 mm ( i presume this is the widecase mark 3 stand ) and the longest one is 325 mm ( scrambler )
it is not only the 19 inch rim on a scrambler . the fork stancions are longer 59 or 60 cm . plus the damperrods are longer . a scrambler fork has 14 cm travel and a Mark 3 with a 35 mm Marzocchi fork 12 cm . RT forks have even more travel 16 cm .

Many thanks Eldert - all noted down for future reference. ("Fork travel" - of course!)
(I missed the one that was just on eBay (second again!). So the hunt continues ...)
Ciao
